Vodka Cocktails


Black Russian
 
Ice cubes
3 cl Vodka
3 cl coffee liqueur
Cola (optional)
Cocktail cherry to garnish
 
Add the vodka, coffee liqueur and optional cola to an ice-filled rocks glass. Garnish with a cocktail cherry.
 
 
Bloody Mary
 
6 cl vodka
Fresh tomato juice
Salt and pepper
Worcestershire sauce
Tabasco sauce
Dash of lemon or lime juice
Ice cubes
Lime or lemon wedge to garnish
 
Add the vodka, tomato juice and condiments to a mixing glass and fill with ice. Cap with a Boston shaker and shake gently, then pour back into the glass. This drink should have thick soup-like consistency, so shake the ingredients gently so as not dilute the mix. Garnish with a wedge of lime or lemon. Serve with a long straw. Other garnish variations include rimming the glass with celery salt and adding a stick of celery as a stirrer; floating a little sherry on top; or adding a little cracked pepper.
 
 
Cap Cod
 
2 lime wedges (one to garnish)

Cranberry juice
ice cubes

 
Squeeze a wedge of lime into a mixing glass. Add the vodka and cranberry juice and fill with ice. Cap with a Boston shaker and shake vigorously for a few seconds. Strain into an ice-filled glass. Garnish with a wedge of lime and serve with a along straw.
 
 
Casablanca
 
3/4 cl Lemon juice
2 cl Egg liqueur (advocaat)
4,5 cl Orange juice
3 cl vodka
 
Shake well over ice cubes in a shaker. Strain into cocktail glass.
 
 
Cosmopolitan
 
3 cl Lemon vodka
3 cl triple sec or Cointreau
3 cl Cranberry juice
Juice of 1 lime wedge
Ice cubes

 
Add the vodka, triple sec or Cointreau, cranberry and lime juices into a mixing glass and fill with ice. Cap with a Boston shaker and shake vigorously for a few seconds. Double-strain into a chilled glass or serve on the rocks.

Alternatively use the Rock glass instead.

 
 
Cosmopolitan Cafe Opera style
 
2 cl Vodka
2 cl Triple sec / Cointreu
2 cl Sugar syrup
2 cl Fresh lemon juice
4 cl Cranberry
1 cl strawberry puree

 
Shake with ice and strain all ingrediense into a chilled cocktail glass. Topp with champagne.
 
 
Dirty Vodka Gibson
 
5 cl Vodka
1 cl Dry Vermouth
Dash olive juice
stick with 3-5 pearl onions

 
Stir ingredient and pour into chilled cocktail glass. Garnish stick with pearl onions.

Shake first two ingredients well over ice cubes ina a shaker, strain into a martini glass, slowly fill with Champagne.
 
 
Harley Wallbanger
 
4,5 cl vodka
Fresh orange juice
Ice cubes
1/2 shot Galiano
Orange wheel or slice, to garnish
 
Add the vodka and orange juice into a mixing glass and fill the ice. Cap with a Boston shaker and shake vigoursly for a few seconds. Strain into ice-filled glass, then float the Galliano on the top. Garnish with an orange slice. Serve with a long straw.
 
 
Jägermeister Mule
 
3 cl vodka
1,5 cl lime juice
3/4 cl sugar syrup
Dash of Angostura bitters
Ice cubes
Ginger beer
3 cl Jägermeister
Lime wedge to garnish
 
Add the vodka, lime juice, sugar syrup and bitters into a mixing glass and fill with ice.

Cap with a Boston shaker and shake. Strain into an ice-filled glass and top with ginger beer and Jägermeister. Garnish with a wedge of lime. Serve with a long straw.

Saturate sugar cube in a Champagne flute with Angostura pour in vodka, top with Champagne.

1-2 cl Lemon juice
Mint leaves
1 Passion fruit

 
Muddle mint, passion fruit and lemon in a rocks glass. Add rest of the ingredients and crossed ice. Garnish with passion fruit and 2 straws.
 
 
Kamikaze
 
3/4 cl Lemon juice
2 cl Rose's lime juice
Dash triple sec
4,5 cl vodka

 
Shake well over ice cubes in a shaker, strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
 
 
Long Island Ice Tea
 
1/2 lime
2 cl orange juice
3/4 cl triple sec
2 cl white rum
2 cl Gin
2 cl Vodka
Cola

 
Squeeze lime into a collins glass, add ice cubes, pour in liquors and juice, stir well fill with cola.
 
 
Mint Feeling
 
3 cl Vodka with lemon taste
2 cl Peach liqeur
3 cl Lemon juice
2 cl Sugar syrup

 
Shake ingredients with mint and strain into chilled cocktail glass.
 
 
Pastis Dream
 
4 cl Pure Green organic Vodka
1 dash of ricard pastis
Mint leaves
1-1,5 cl sugar syrup
2 cl fresh lemon juice
 
Shake all ingredients with ice, strain into cocktail glass. Garnish with mint leaves.
 
 
Raspberry Mule
 
4,5 cl vodka
1,5 cl fresh fruit purée/liqueur/flavoured syrup
1,5 cl fresh lime juice
3/4 cl sugar syrop
Dash of Angostura bitters
Ice cubes
Ginger beer

Add the vodka, fruit purée, lime juice, sugar syrup and bitters into a mixing glass and fill with ice. Cap with a Boston shaker and shake for a few seconds. Strain into an ice-filled glass and top with ginger beer. Garnish with a wedge of lime. Serve with a long straw.
 
 
Red Earl
 
3 cl Vodka
2 cl Limoncello
2 cl Raspberry puree
2 cl Lemon juice
1 cl Sugar syrup
aprox. 1 cl Ginger

 
Pour a all ingredients and shake vigorously in a boston shaker . Strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a lemon skin.

1 cl preserved raw lingonberry
4 cl vodka
Mint leaves
topped with cranberry juice

 
Shake the berry, mint and vodka and ice. Pour into glass add crossed ice and mix. The top with cranberry juice. Garnish with a lemon wedge and mint leaves.

6 cl grapefruit juice

 
Shake over ice cubes in a shaker, strain into a chilled cocktail glass rimmed with salt.

12 cl fresh orange juice

Add the vodka and orange juice into a mixing glass and fill with ice. Cap with a Boston shaker and shake vigorously for a few seconds. Strain into an ice-filled glass. Garnish with an orange wheel or slice. Serve with a long straw.
 
 
Sea Breeze
 
Ice cubes
2 lime wedges
6 cl vodka
6 cl cranberry juice
6 cl grapefruit juice
 
Put the ice into a mixing glass and squeeze one wedge of lime into the glass. Add the vodka, cranberry and grapefruit juices, and cap with a Boston shaker. Shake vigorously for a few seconds and pour into a Collins glass. Garnish with a lime wedge. You can also add the cranberry juice to an ice-filled Collins glass. Place the remaining ingredients in a Boston shaker, shake for a few seconds then pour carefully over the cranberry, creating a white layer over the cranberry. Garnish with a fresh wedge of lime and serve with a long straw.
 
 
Sex on the Beach

3 cl vodka
3 cl peach schnapps
4,5 cl fresh orange juice
Drizzle of grenadine
Lime wedge to garnish
 
Put the ice into a mixing glass and add the vodka, peach schnapps and orange juice. Cap with a Boston shaker and shake vigorously for a few seconds. Strain into an ice-filled glass and drizzle the grenadine over the drink. Garnish with a wedge of lime. Serve with a long straw.
 
 
Vodka Rickey
 
Ice cubes
6 cl vodka
3 cl lime cordial or fresh lime juice
Soda water
Lime wedge, to garnish

 
Fill the glass with ice and add the vodka. Most people prefer lime cordial instead of fresh lime - it's always best to ask. Top with soda and stir. Squeeze a wedge or lime into the glass. Serve with a long straw.
 
 
Woo Woo
 
3 cl vodka
3 cl peach schnapps
3 cl cranberry juice
Ice cubes
Lime wedges

 
Add the vodka, peach schnapps and cranberry juice into a mixing glass and fill with ice. Cap with a Boston shaker and shake vigorously for a few seconds. Fine-strain into a chilled glass. Squeeze a wedge of lime into the glass, then rub it around the rim and discard.

Alternatively use the Rock glass instead.You can also make this drink in a rocks glass or serve long by adding more cranberry juice. Garnish with wedge of lime.
