Cocktail Life:Where does your inspiration come from?
Karin Malm: Comes actually from a play that I saw a woman was running on the stage and it looks like her dress was wet. I just remember that sculpture feeling and therefore I wanted to work with wet fabrics. So I started first to sculpture.

Cocktail Life: Do you have any work experience from London?
Karin Malm: I had the opportunity to work with arquitect Zaha-Hadid on a fashion project. However, I’m currently working as a consultant at the men’s department at H & M.

Cocktail Life: Where does your inspiration come from?
Karin Malm: The colors I use are earthy and raw as i.e. the rubber band. I´ve been working with burned details on the fabrics because the one I have now are too small on the fashion show. I would like develop the burn details in order to have bigger expression.
Ms. AnnLouise Landelius, Designer of bags and accessories for women, studied design at Central St Martin in London.

Cocktail Life: What kind of quality are you using for your bags?
AnnLouise Landelius: I use cow leather from Italy with a lot of wax in. This is the reason why it´s so smooth and very natural based. The more you use it the better it fits.

Cocktail Life: Why did you start with bag?
AnnLouise Landelius: Because it works with leather and I think it´s a brilliant material. Whereas when you work with clothes you have to fit it to a body. Bags are more like a product design.

Cocktail Life:For which occasion are you producing your bags?
AnnLouise Landelius: They are for every occasion. I have weekend bag, gym bag, party bags and so on. As well as bags that can be transformed from a day bag to a night bag by changing the holder strap.

Cocktail Life:Where is your current market?
AnnLouise Landelius: I have 12 boutiques selling my collection.

Cocktail Life: Can you recommend any places to go out in London?
AnnLouise Landelius: When I’m London, I hang out a lot on East London. There is a pub that I like very much called The Cat & Mutten on 76 Broadway Market which is really vibrant in the summer. Gothenburg: Haga Bion on Linnégatan which is an old cinema which has become a restaurant with very nice food. It´s very relaxed and cosy. Gothenburg: Rover (on Andra Långgatan) which is a beer place with good burgers. Stockholm: Marie Leveau or Babylon.
